This is a good place to get recovery if you're on on cocaine or anything or drink anything it's a good place to get your recovery in the start your new life I've been sober 35 years and this is a place where God has meant for people to go to get help
Thankful that there is thus place to help cloth house also to feed staff has been nice
Wonderful caring people. The drug and alcohol treatment program has saved many wonderful people. God bless you Cindy!!!!
The Siena Francis House does wonderful work for the homeless and addicted. I have only witnessed their activity from a distance but living in the neighborhood I can see the need. Many of their clients are down on their luck types who need assistance. I try not to get upset with the noise and litter they generate.
it's a warm place to stay if you are homeless. They also offer a drug and alcohol treatment program. They have had shootings and stabbings fighting a lot of non sense but you will be ok if you keep around the more mellow people
I graduated the Miracles program and it was by far the beat treatment I've ever been to. And they do a great job of making sure you're on the right track for success even after you leave. The homeless shelter, well ots a homeless shelter, just greatful its there to help as many people as they can! It's a great place, changed my life.
Sorry for the hurt caused by another god bless you ladies,
Homeless shelter....not the Marriott. Some people get it confused sometimes. It works if you work it.
Staff is scarce, the ones who are going thru treatment work there and present them selves as being better then the homeless people!! The bathrooms have no doors and it was filthy and the smell of a unexplainable oder filled the air which will make you sick!! Not a very clean facility!!
Well its the franny. The butthole of the universe. But to keep it real. Its safe.we look out for each other. .and its dependable. The steps to recovery depend on you.help is always a step away. D.Brewer
The place, a God send. For some it is home in a homeless shelter. The double edged sword here is that "the franny" is the only wet shelter in our immediate Midwest. Unique in Omaha, Nebraska.
It was o. K. Had to start from the bottom. But now I'm Gd. I have church home and my best friends. You know who you are!
I live and work at the Siena Francis House they have a really great program for drug and alcohol they have a good size homeless shelter they have really good resources if your homeless or you know someone who is homeless send them to us
Very helpful staff. Plus I made a bunch of extremely thoughtful people.
Straight ghetto, but alot to see,REALITY IS SO ALIVE !!!
Are you kidding me I grew up there,I love this place once a month.
What in the** is wrong with you asshats excuse my language being i am a good christian at most times, they have to be strict it's a wet shelter they are the hammers when the nails , ie people get out of hand it "hammer and anvil theory in the USMC and if they weren't it would be a madhouse and everyone would walk all over the place it neeeds to be regulated because 9 of ten people are under the influence moreover everyone that works there for the most part gives respect when respect i given and i personally vouch that everyone there truly cares for the GUESTS because they were all once guests, i'm just a volunteer so what do i know ? Well i know when detox wouldn't take me after a bender they gave me a med bed and kept me there, for three days i didnt sleep i just looked at a huge clock ant pondered...i've been sober since. and i don't even recollect three days of me drinking and being a retard so all i have to say is god is good and when people have nowhere else and noone else they are there to help and assist and they're program works miracles, so i'm told Have a blessed day
A great place to go when you need help.
Ive learned to live with out the use of drugs or alcohol..they saved my life!!!
Not a family friendly shelter. They separate the men from the women and children and then make the men leave everyday by 8 am and check in everyday by 4 pm, even if the men have a family in the gated women's and children's shelter. My boy loves his daddy and couldn't understand why he couldn't be right there in our "shared" room with us...he cried himself to sleep for the 3 nights we were there and I couldn't take it anymore so we left. The food was good and there was an open kitchen in the gated women's and children's shelter which was a blessing but the fact that our family couldn't be together was the reason we left. The living quarters on the women's and children's side were nasty and the old indoor/outdoor carpet needs some serious cleaning. ~KK~
I was in the Miracle's program and it changed my lifestyle
Fantastic, special it's a lil piece the heavens.all the staff is wonderful my god it's a best please on the Earth God bless Siena fransis shelter.
The staff is great I recommend it for the world
Area: Older delapitated neighborhood Staff: Rude, non-caring, very strict. Food: Fair to Good. High carb diets. Generalized Rules: long lines for dinner and checkin, lines could be out in elements, no admittance in bayright (sp) building 8am-4pm unless scheduled to see the clinic. Atmosphere: Bad. They allow anybody into their facility, bad criminal elements, no body searches, no bag searches, horrible sanitation issues in restrooms, mold and bed bugs. The smarter ones sleep on the floor. High theft rate. Staff doesnt seem to care if a person stays 2 hours or 15 years..no proactive means of getting the homeless out of homelessness. Religious: None except cults in particular Christian Science and Jehovah Witnesses. Clients: Less than proactive Programs: Inclusive, some help provided for the disabled via Community Services. Studio apartments available to disabled, very limited availability. Case workers generally seem a desire to help those who ask. Dayhouse Services: Horrible..cramped spaces, violence, filthy, and quite scary to those not use to this place. Limited power outlets, limited seating.
If you need help in any shape or form, then this is where you want to be.
The place is dirty and runned down
It's a awesome treatment center
Always welcome to allowing us to help.
It was extremely overcrowded, with lots of urine on the men's bathroom floor, but for a one-night stay it was all right -- the mat I slept on on the floor in the main room was comfortable and I was treated with respect.
