Worked with their Domestic Violence shelter, formerly Phoenix House, for years in attempting to get out of an abusive marriage. They never pushed or judged, but always supported me every step of the way. Their legal advocate Brittney was particularly sensitive and supportive for a variety of questions and issues that arose over the years. I don't know where we'd be without Brittney and Catholic Charities, but alive, happy, and hopeful, is an outcome I can only credit to them. Thank you!

Nice people. Generally a decent place to stay but not if you are working and have a busy lifestyle. They aren't exactly clear on what they expect and they aren't very understanding of commute times and the fact that if you can't make it to the 30 minute mealtimes, you have to feed your family elsewhere.

Great for warm beds. But not actually family oriented. A lot of times children and mother's needs aren't thought of, care more for " the policy". Food is usually bland and served often times lukewarm. They don't care if coffee is old. The hot water on the coffee maker has calcium build up on it-cook staff won't clean it.

They do tons of great work here at the Micah House and can always use volunteers. If you need to do any community service look here first.

I stayed here for shy of a month during what was the worst summer of my entire life (6/7 years ago), my four year old daughter in tow. This place is organized, clean, caring, and supportive. Every resource you could need is provided here if you care to have it. It was the cornerstone for my getting back on my feet. I cannot say how grateful I am to them, and how fondly I still think of my time there, despite everything else that was happening in my life.
